Geoff has been doing his thing and making waves in Austin, TX for a few years now. Whether it be heading up the Teflon Beast cult or spewing his electronic vibes with the other TB cronies. We found him, or, rather, he found us, through his writings with Cassette Gods and International Tapes. You may have heard the man’s previous electroacoustic incantations under the name of Gary Busdriver, or through his non-stop collaborations with the surrounding collective (Daily Brothers, Chris). There’s a whole bunch of stuff we could say about this guy, and what a pleasure its been to showcase his material for our first lathe cut release. But you don’t really care about that. Instead, listen to the surreal majesty he shreds on Liberated Atheist. Like the best long form improvisations (see E2-E4, No Pussyfooting), from the start, this thing is allowed time to breath, grow, and morph into something else entirely.
